Get Creative: Great day

Good morning all, 

It looks like it's going to be a nice day here in Athens, Greece!

The sun is out and the birds are singing so let's seize the day.

Today is the 20th of the month and that means a Sketch Challenge at Get creative. 

My take:

The sketch:

As you can see it's a very romantic card. 

Paper used is from Graphic 45, the birdsong collection. 

As the paper itself is very "busy" i did not want to add too many things. 

So i choose to layer the paper with a chippie and 

the back and front of the paper , added some  flowers & pearls to finish it off.

FD; Bold & Bright "flowers whisper beauty"

Good afternoon all, 

Yes, this is my 2nd post of the day, does not happen very often.

Today it is also time for a challenge at Frosted designs. As you might have noticed, our DT team has grown with some beautiful talent. Some tinny things will change, just pass by FD and all will be explained.
The new ladies will show off their talent in March.

The challenge for FD today is BOLD & BRIGHT!

Be Bold! Use bold colors and bold patterns
on a card, layout or off the page project!

For this layout i used a lovely picture of my little friend Leo.

The picture was made at his parents wedding in October. Inspired by the bright flowers 

in the picture i used paper from the Prima Marketing Collection " Zephyr".

There was some fussy cutting involved in this layout and i made several layers of it. 

Bright Pink, Yellow, Orange, Red come back in each layer and the cluster of flowers. 

I colored the chandelier in the same colors with copic markers.

Below you can see a little bit of all the layers. 

It was a fun layout to make! ( while in syros, hahaha)

PS: I Love you, Scrap Africa Challenge #14

Good morning all, 

Today is the first reveal for the new DT team at Scrap Africa!!!

As we all know, February is the month of Love........

This is my take on the challenge;

And this is the inspirational picture:

The Challenge is to use HEARTS as your main accent on your craft project. 

Below are some details of my LO.

The picture was taken in the Athens Zoo, at the beginning of January. 

So cute, a mother and baby chimpanzee. They had their backs to the audience

 because it was feeding time and they were hiding there findings. 

I have added 7 hearts to this LO. 

The 2 cupids i first sprayed green and after added the crackle paint. 

On the picture below you can see  all the layers in this layout.

Happy Valentine's day!

Good evening all, 

Hope you are all having a loving day today?

This will be a very quick post just to wish you all a happy valentine's day!

I have made a few cards for today that i entered in a challenge for Flying unicorn.

I also made something yummy today French Macarones.

First time i made them, actually the 2nd time. 

The first time it did not work at all, i trough the mixture straight in the garbage. 

But this time it worked and below you can see how it worked out.
