Scrap Africa: Follow your dreams.....

Good morning all,

I hope you are all enjoying your day!

I will have two posts today, and the First one is for Scrap Africa

It's time for our new challenge and the challenge is to use at least one chipboard.

This is my take:

We are sponsered by

And we received some chippies in the mail, and i used this one.

I chose to combine it with paper of Bo Bunny of the Prairie chic collection, lovely colors.
My little friend Ava is playing with a Pooh bear ball and i decided to use that for this challenge.
I rememberd that i bought a mask for 50 cents in a sale at a store here in athens.
It is normally used i think to decorate a baby room, but i thought it would be handy one day for crafting.

Below you can see the chipboard i used, that is actually round but i cut it in half and
 placed it behind the picture.

Here you can see the pooh bear mask, i sprayed it on some left over paper and cut it out.

I really loved the colors of this paper, so happy & bright.

So hop over to Scrap africa to see what my lovely fellow Dt members have made.
You have two weeks for this challenge so i can't wait to see what you will make.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Frosted designs: black and white and......

Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a great weekend?
Mine was very short as i had to work on saturday. But i had a good sunday!

Yesterday i tried to add this post for Frosted designs as sunday is my reveal day but blogger was not having it????

So the challenge is to use Black and White and another color.
If you have looked on the Frosted designs blog you can find tons of inspiration.

My choice was Black, White and Pink.

I used paper from Prima Marketing that was already black and white.
I colored the roses with some dylusions ink and after used some modeling paste to create some texture on the back ground.

All flowers used are from "another dt boss" Irini Liolia" of Get creative embellishments.
She makes crochet flowers, and had her little etsy shop.
Have a look at it because they are so lovely to use on cards and layouts.

On the above picture you can see the flowers and the chicken wire back ground.

So have a look at Frosted designs.
All the designers have revealed their inspiration for you .

Thank you for stopping by, have a great week and evening.

Get Creative: Card Challenge

Good Afternoon,

Happy easter to all my greek blog friends!
I wish you all the best, health for you and your families.

For my husband it was an early day today, as he was in charge of the lamb.
As it is a tradition to eat lamb at easter time, as i dont eat lamb i could stay a few hours more in bed and i had more time to prepare dessert.

The lamb:

And dessert:

Today is obiously also the day for our card challenge at Get creative.
The challenge for this month "April showers bring may flowers"
So make a card with many flowers.

This is my take on the challenge:

I made a card from left overs, the greek ladies will recognize the paper from the last crop that we had.
The flower is made from several layers of flowers. .

So you have until the end of the month to enter your card.
I am off to enjoy my days off, as monday and tuesday are public holidays.
We are taking are new bikes out for a right tomorrow in Evia and enjoy the sun.
It is getting very hot here in Greece, i believe summer is here???
From wednesday i am back in training and that is it with the holidays until i have earned some holiday days.

Have a great week, enjoy your sunday!

Scrap Africa: Snap, Click & Smile

Good Evening all,

I have been absence for a while, due to unfortunat family reason. At the same time many many happy changes are happening in our lives, In a month and a half we are moving appartments & after 2 1/2 years being unemployed i have a job and i will be in training for the next month. So i need to get back in to rythem, with working, household, and crafting. It will take some time but i will get there. So today it is time for a new sketch at Scrap Africa.
All the lovely ladies have created a variety of different takes on the sketch so have a look at the Scrap Africa Blog to get your inspiration.

This is my take:

I used a beautiful picture of my little friend Roan. I think he is so gorgeous and perfect to scrap at all times.

Our guest designer for this challenge is the talented Debbi Tehrani, that we all know from CSI!!!

I have used some new stash from Bo Bunny! I have to get my Mojo back, and slowly it is coming.

You have until the 14th of may to upload your project at the SA blog.

I am off to bed, this weekend will be very busy. Greek orthodox easter is here, very late this year so a lot of activities are around the corner ( that will require a lot of visits to the gym after if you get what i mean FOOD!)

So for all my greek followers, have a good easter and for all the rest have a great weekend.

Kisses, channa
