Berry71Blue Ice cream time !!!

Good Morning all,

It's the last day of the month and August is ending.....
Summer is still here in Greece, but i believe normal live will start again after this weekend.

Today i wanted to share with you a layout i made for Berry71Blue! My fellow DT member Cathy Cafun has a great challenge for you this month " Wings " with a lovely inspirational picture. Most of you have entered your beautiful creations but if you have not, this is your last day to do it.

This was my take on the challenge:

Lots and lots of flowers this month!
Some of them handmade and some were a gift from Marivic.

I added a cluster of flowers at the top corner of this layout. In between was my first element for this challenge a love bird cage from Scrapmatts. Our sponsor for this month, and they were so generous to give lots of Goodies that you will see in future layouts.

Of course not to forget, my inspirational tag for this month! Ice cream, on of the things that i could not stay away from these hot summer months.

Frosted designs " Little Sailor"

Good morning all,

Hope you are all enjoying your Tuesday morning?

Meaning it's time for a new sketch at frosted designs...............but unfortunately this will be the last " Sketch Tuesday". Boehoe...very sad!! But if something goes, something new will come, so just keep an eye on the Frosted designs blog.

So here is the sketch:

This is another layout i made for a gift.
The little sailor in the picture just got baptized a few weeks ago.

I added a lot of Magnolia stamps for this layout.

I also made the invitations and party favors for this baptism.
The invitation was a message in a bottle, you can see the english version below.
The greek invitation was in a bigger bottle but it did not fit in the frame that i put the layout in.

Below you can see the party favor, as you can see the parents wanted a Navy theme.

You have until the 2nd of September to upload your layout on the Frosted designs website.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Scrap your crap " Brads & Eyelets"

Good morning All,

It's time for another challenge at Scrap your crap!
This month you need to dig in your stash and use Brads and or Eyelets on your craft project.

This is my take for this month:

As you can see i took out my pearl & Rhinestone brads for this layout.
The two big flowers are handmade lace flowers and i added a rhinestone brad in the middle. The smaller white flowers with the pearl brads are a new edition in my Crafts & Pieces shop.
They are so easy to use for any kind of style.

I made a layered border on the left side of the picture of stamps, a row of paper flowers, lace (with rhinestone brads) and the little white roses.

These beautiful butterflies are from SCRAPMATTS, i colored them with distress ink
and added 2 little green dots of pearl dots.

So play along with Scrap your crap, it is a fun blog for getting ideas on how to use your old stash.
Have a good day and thanks for stopping by!

Frosted designs " Eleana"

Good Morning all,

It is a proper heatwave here in Athens, and i am almost melting. I stepped in my yesterday and the temperature meter stated 47 degrees Celsius........ no joke. I am so thankful for Air conditioning!

So with that said i think my brain was melting yesterday because i totally forgot to post my layout for Frosted designs. Luckily i was reminded by my mother!

Here is my take:

The sketch:

I made this layout for my friend Pina, for her daughters 1st birthday.
As you can see her name is Eleana, a beautiful little mix of Greek, Italian & Canadian.
Such a pretty little girl.

I used stamps & masks for this layout.
I stamped the doilies and the border underneath the picture and around the layout.

I dabbed the chipboard letters with dis stress ink, to give it a "wood look"
and after added the little pearl drops.

I made the border with stamps, lace and added the rose ribbon on top
and finished it off with pearl drops.

As usual, you have two weeks to make your layout and add it to the Frosted designs Sketch challenge.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by,

Get creative August Card Challenge

Good morning ladies,

Time for another Card sketch at Get Creative. As mentioned last month we will only have 2 challenges.
1 Card sketch challenge and 1 Layout sketch challenge.

My take

The Sketch

It is such a lovely sketch this month!
This card is absolutely my style, romantic, elegant and attention to detail.

I used a circle chippie from Sfragidomania, first colored it and after added the beads.

A cluster of Flowers and i added a stick pin with some purple beads and bling.

There was a bird cage on the design paper and i added a bird cage charm, imagining a shadow.

Here is a close up of the sentiment and the chippie with the purple beads.

Sentiment stamp:

' Lying about your age is easier now that you.
Sometimes forget what it is '

I can say that i am getting there.............hihihi

So hop over to Get creative and add your project.

Good luck,
