September is here in Greece schools will  start next week. Everybody is back in Athens and the streets are packed again................bye bye summer! 

So the card challenge for this month?

Back to school month

back to the same ol' routine

so we don't get all depressed this months card challenge is

Get creative : Sketch card challenge

I made a flower cluster ( my favorite!!) in the left hand corner, i used several flowers and the Chipboard

Get Creative Card Challenge: Red Hot!

Good Afternoon Ladies, 

Yes I am aware of being 2 days too late on posting my post……

Due to the move we have been experiencing some technical difficulties!

I won’t have internet until the end of July…..a change of address does not go so fast here in Greece.

With that said I also had a incident, a drink fell on top of my laptop and it was swimming. 

Quickly I picked up my laptop and turned it around.

Now a few days after it is still recovering but it works.

So that was my explanation for the delay…

The challenge at get creative is to create a card with the main color red:

Little tilda is watering the flowers. 

I believe it is red enough....right??

Well i wish you a good sunday, i have to do a lot of things before going to work!

Get Creative - Tag time

Good Afternoon all, 

It's tag time at Get creative!

And this is my take on the color scheme:

This is the color scheme:

I sprayed the tag with black and red spray,

the metallic items used as wings were tags from a wreath i bought. 

I knew it would come handy one day!

The dress is also sprayed with black and red and i added gesso on the edges together with a stamp.

I love the barb wire chipboard, it gave a little edgy vibe on the tag. 

I added the white rose around the waist and tight it up with some red and white twine and topped it off with a black vintage button.

So tag away ladies!

Get creative: Card challenge.

Good morning, 

How are you today? well i was woken up two days ago by a "little"earthquake. 

The only reason that i noticed it was because my husband just left the house around 4 ish in the morning and i believe the quake was a little bit before 5. It's always hard to get back to sleep again so i was just getting back to sleep and that was a weird noise. I went to work and a lot of people had the same story or they slept trough it!! Hahahaha

Well today is the 5th of June and it is time for the Card Challenge of Get creative. 

The challenge is....... to use the colors below on your card????

This is my take:

Little edwin fishing away......he is said because he still has not caught anything. 

So i used the colors as followed. :

Yellow: in the background paper, rose flowers and edwin's shirt.

Blue: behind the background paper, rose flowers, edwin's pants and little fish.

Grey: I added grey around edwin, as a border and i colored every 2nd shell grey. 

The crochet flower is from our lovely "GC BOSS" Irini Liolia!

Get creative: It's tag time.

Good afternoon, 

Enjoying your evening ? 

Also at Get creative it is time for a new Tag challenge.  

We are not diverting from the challenge of the month so also for your tags 

the challenge is to use Lot's of flowers on your tag. 

I love flowers, you will hardly see a craft project of mine with out any flowers. 

This is my take:

I used 12 flowers for this tag!

For making a tag i always look at my left over box to get inspiration. 

How much paper do we not use after making a card or layout? 

I first looked at the flowers in my collection and than i searched for matching paper. 

Above you can see a little zoom in on the flower cluster below on the tag. 

I was very generous with the flowers because i always try to keep things??? why??? i dont know! 

I know we are all the same, we go with the trends and add as much paper and embellischments to our

stash as possible as soon as something new comes out. 

Right??

 

So use your stash, for sure you have some flowers, punches, die cuts, coffee filters

 anything that you can make flowers with.

Get Creative: Card Challenge

Good Afternoon, 

Happy easter to all my greek blog friends! 

I wish you all the best, health for you and your families. 

For my husband it was an early day today, as he was in charge of the lamb.

As it is a tradition to eat lamb at easter time, as i dont eat lamb i could stay a few hours more in bed and i had more time to prepare dessert.

Today is obiously also the day for our card challenge at Get creative. 

The challenge for this month "April showers bring may flowers"

So make a card with many flowers. 

This is my take on the challenge:

I made a card from left overs, the greek ladies will recognize the paper from the last crop that we had. 

The flower is made from several layers of flowers. . 

So you have until the end of the month to enter your card. 

I am off to enjoy my days off, as monday and tuesday are public holidays. 

We are taking are new bikes out for a right tomorrow in Evia and enjoy the sun. 

It is getting very hot here in Greece, i believe summer is here???

From wednesday i am back in training and that is it with the holidays until i have earned some holiday days.

Sketch time at Get creative, it's already the 20th of March..... where does the time go?

So this is my take:

They are soooooooooooo gorgeous and easy to use on any craft project.

The paper used for this card is from Prima Marketing, the En francais collection.

I made for little tags and placed them as the sketch.

Get creative: Envelope card

Good afternoon all, 

I hope you are having a good day!

It;s the 5th of March and that means a new challenge at Get creative.

This is my take:

The challenge is to make a card with an envelope on it....i made it in to an envelope card. 

 I guess you have to use your imagination with this challenge.....

I used 1 scrap book sheet (30cm/30cm) for this card.

The hippo's are colored with copic markers, lace to the sides of the envelope and the flowers. 

I added a card in the envelope, just a single one made of kraft paper. 

I wanted a flower that matched the paper..........but i did not have one, so i sprayed the middle 

flower with dylusion spray.

Here is a close up of the little hippo, cute right?

Get Creative: Great day

Good morning all, 

It looks like it's going to be a nice day here in Athens, Greece!

The sun is out and the birds are singing so let's seize the day.

Today is the 20th of the month and that means a Sketch Challenge at Get creative. 

My take:

The sketch:

As you can see it's a very romantic card. 

Paper used is from Graphic 45, the birdsong collection. 

As the paper itself is very "busy" i did not want to add too many things. 

So i choose to layer the paper with a chippie and 

the back and front of the paper , added some  flowers & pearls to finish it off.

" Love with a twist" Get creative

Good morning all, 

Hope you are all enjoying your day?

It's the 5th of February that means a Card challenge at Get creative. 

I have  noticed that in Blog land love is in the air.........

Also at Get creative and this is my take:

Do you notice the twist?????

Create a valentines card without using 

RED or any other colors in the Red Family ( pink etc....)

I used the Prima Marketing Jack & Jill stamps. 

There are plenty of other colors to use for a valentines card. I mainly used kraft paper for this card, i like to use it and it combines very well with any other paper. 

I am in love with these two, i think they are so lovely. 

Tomorrow i will share some other cards that i made for valentines day.

Get Creative, Card challenge

Good evening, 

I hope that everybody had a nice weekend! 

Today it is time for a Card challenge at get creative and that means a Sketch.

This is my take:

This is the Sketch:

I used a new stamp that i bought in December. 

His name is Boofle and i think he is the cutest thing!

The stamp came in a duo pack, one solid stamp and one outline stamp that you can

 combine with a textured background. 

I sprayed the background a little bit with brown dylusion spray, to give it a splatter look.

I stamped the Boofle outline stamp on cardstock and on pink dotted paper and cut out certain areas. 

It's a simple cute card! 

And the stamp can be used for different occasions.

Happy New Year!

Good evening all, 

I wish you all a Happy, Healthy, Creative and Loving 2013!

May all your wishes come true and much much more.....

All the festivities have ended and it is time to start a new year.

Today at Get creative we will have a new challenge and guess what???

The challenge is to make a " Happy New Year card"

This was my take:

I wove a wreath of ribbon and added an old Christmas ornament that i bought a few year ago at Ikea underneath.  I finished it off with a bow and a little 2013 charm.

I made several cards in the same style for Christmas and New years, below are a few samples. 

I wish you a lot of creativity this year.
