Project life week 3 & 4& 5!

Hello Everybody,

It's Channa here, to share with you my Project life!
I just started this year with Project life and i am still in the exploring mode.

Here are my pages for week 3, 4 & 5:

As you can see i used the Photo Freedom pack 2, from Echo park.
Amazing bright colors with different designs. The kit comes with six 12 x12 double sided papers, 1 12 x 12 element stickers and 5 designer photo sleeves.

As mentioned before i am still exploring project life, at the moment i have one week on 2 pages. But i have already realized when it is just a regular week it is hard to make a 2 page spread. I think i will just go along with the amount of pictures that i have for the week.

What i love about project life is the clean look, as much as i love my flowers and all kind of embellishments on layouts and other projects. To be honest i thought that it would be really quick and easy to have PL book  but i still take my time with it, how to place the pictures?, which pictures to put? what paper to use?

I think it's an excellent and pretty way to document life!!
Thank you for passing by and have a great day,

Keep calm and.....

Good evening all,

I just wanted to share a layout with you that i have finished a few days ago for a few challenges.
But i almost forgot to make a post for it!!
So here it is:

I am entering this LO for the following challenges:

1. Challenge yourself - Keep calm and smile
2. Let's get sketchy - March week 2
3. Mood board - Scrap around the world - Inspired by the type writer letters and the light pink colors.

I bought a pack of these cork discs and it has different sizes in it, i used the smallest one and stamped a letter on it. It's looks like the type writer letters on the bottom picture of the mood board of
Scrap around the world.

Some detailed pictures below!

Keep Calm and Smile is for the Challenge yourself blog.
Whatever you do smiling is the best remedy for everything!

Thank you for passing by and have a great evening,

Happiness is yours......

Good morning all,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

It's already have way March.........time just flies.
I don't know how the weather is treating you but it is just up and down here in Greece.
Warm, Cold, T-shirt, Winter coat.......

As it is the 15th of March, we are having a new challenge at Scrap Africa!

The challenge:
Stars & Stitching

I made a card this time, as i looked trough my stash and i have nothing with stars.....
So i had to dig deep and checked the christmas box, where i found a stamp with stars.

So my stitching is in the front, i chose to do some hand stitching as my die cut had to many
curves for me to do it with a sewing machine.

As i made an easel card i had a hard time taking a good picture, so my stars are on the inside of the card.

For more inspiration, go to the Scrap Africa Blog!!
So many beautiful creations in many different styles.

Enjoy the rest of your Weekend and thank you for stopping by.

Good life

Good evening all,

Today it's time for the challenge at Frosted designs!

This is my take:

Using the Everyday moments collection pack from elle's studio.

Pictures were from our short ski trip a few days ago.
Greece offers anything you want, from the beautiful beaches to the beautiful mountains with snow.
It is only a two hour trip from Athens, and you are in a totally different world.

We were lucky weather wise, according to the locals it was the 2nd best sunny day of the season. Full sunshine and white snow, for me a perfect combination.

This collection is so pretty, lovely bright vibrant colors to use for any kind of layout.

And for the twist:

You have to use buttons and bling (BOTH)

As usual two weeks to upload your project, for some inspirations hop over to the Frosted designs blog!

Have a good weekend,
Channa

Unfortunatly i am out of the scrap tournament...... i have to say that the challenge were a real challenge and the competition is very high! So many talented ladies from all over the globe....
Thanks to all the ladies that voted for my doodle card!!!

The challenge:

All is free.......but you need to add at least two hidden elements.

Not to be used:
- All kinds of ink (including spray ink and misting ink)
- No paint of any sort
- No stamps
- No gesso
- No chalk

This is my Card:

From the front:

The back of the card:

The inside:

And now for the hidden elements:
1. If you pull the lace ribbon on the top a card comes out.
2.  on the circlen ( right side) there is a piece of twine...and behind is the bird, that belongs in the cage.

A better view of the hidden elements.

Let's see if it will take me to the final round!

Thank you for passing by and have a good evening!

A walk trough nature........

Good evening all,

Tonight i will share a layout for Scrap Africa!

It's the monthly sketch challenge and this is my take:

The sketch:

It is a very rustic layout, picture were taken from our holiday in November, 2013.
It was a very rainy day, but is was so beautiful with all the autumn colors.
Below are some detailed pictures. I used a lot of dylusion sprays to give it the autumn look.

I used some white dylusion spray and by accident it ended up on the picture.....
but i like it because it looks like rain!

So hop over to Scrap africa for some inspiration and we will be waiting for you to see your projects.
Thank you for stopping by and have a good week!

Doodle.... doodle and again doodle

Good evening,

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
It's the last day to upload my entries for the Supreme Scrap and Card tournament.

The challenge for this week was doodling. And oh my was this a challenge for me, totally out of my way.
But i tried...........and tried.......and tried..........and this is the ending result:

For the scrapbook tournament:

I think i have ruined about 6 white cardstock pages, it was just not working out for me.
I used 4 of the same pictures, just in different sizes.

I sprayed the background with some teal ink, and after added a brick wall with some modeling paste.
On the bricks i started to add some doodling, and all my journaling is on the edges of the pages.
On the left and bottom i added water in different languages and on the right and top side my journaling.

This picture was taken in 2011, on the island of Kefalonia infront of the Church of Saint Gerasimos.
The island has been struck by several earth quakes a few weeks ago and it is very sad to see the news.
Beaches have been swept away and the houses of people are for some too dangerous to live in.

And for the card tournament:

Same challenge for the cards, all doodling!

"love is in the air" is doodles straight on the card (one of the requirements)
this time we were allowed to use cutting machines so i cut a center and added a layer on top, where i doodles all the clouds. The butterflies come from a punch  and i also added some doodling on them.

Thank you all for passing by!!
I wish you a good sunday, we have a long weekend here in Greece.
So we have another extra day.
