Get creative "let get stamping!"

Good evening ladies,

My post today for Get creative is very late as i was not feeling well today.
I think the rain, rain and more rain here in Holland is not helping me either.

But my card for Get Creative today is very bright!!
The challenge for today is to use a stamp you never used before?

I made quit a mess with this card......
I sprayed and
sprayed and
sprayed away with dylusions.

I just love this stuff and you will see it in a lot of my work from now on!

Mostlikely you will or will not see it but i also used a lot of different wasi tapes.

With this shot from the side it is better to see the different tapes.

This is it for me today ladies, short but sweet.... i am heading back to bed again.
Thanks for stopping by,
Channa

Frosted : Mist, Paint & Ink

Good morning all,

Today we will have another challenge at Frosted designs.
And the challenge is Mist, Paint & Ink!

This is my take on this challenge:

Mist: I used brown mist around the picture on the design paper.
Paint: I used Gesso as an extra border on the edges and on the birdcage.
Inkt: I used inked on the both chipboard embellishments. And i dabbed it on doily borders.

As some of you might have noticed, i always try to combine my gifts with the challenges
that i have from the different DT teams that i am in.

So this time i made this small shadow frame for a couple that just got married
a few weeks ago on the beautiful island of Rhodes.

The whole frame has a vintage, shabby chic look.
Below you can see some  close up pictures for the details.

Using the same paper, pearls, flowers, i made a matching card.

Well ladies, i wish you good luck with the challenge.
You have two weeks to add your creation on the Frosted designs blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day ( and weekend)!

Day dreaming - Berry71blue

Good Morning to you all,

Today it is my turn to show you my project for the month of October.
As you all know, keren has this wonderful challenge up this month

"Mixed Media Madness"

Story behind the picture:
I went to a lovely wedding on the island of Rhodes a few weeks ago.
This is Leo, the son of the bride and groom. After running around the whole day he had a little moment and put his head on his fathers shoulder to rest.
And that was my moment to take this gorgeous picture.

What did i not use on this layout??
I used Modeling paste, Dylusions ink sprays, fine glitter paint, distress ink, stamps.
As you can also see i used some lovely goodies from the Zeus and Zoe shop. HERE
Beautiful flowers of Manor house and some lovely golden buttons.

The chipboard hot air balloon:
I first colored it with copic markers, than i added ( Tattered angels ) glimmer glaze on top of it to give it a shimmer. I wanted to give it a look, so it seemed that it was flying trough the clouds.....so i sprayed some dylusional ink spray over the balloon. The glaze and ink spray did not blend very well, but it was perfect for the effect that i wanted to give. After i added the stamp of the hot air balloon so it gave a shadow effect.

The sentiment: May your travels lead you to some amazing places.
I thought it fits nicely with the picture because the little man was dreaming away.

Before i glued down the chipboard in the left hand corner i sprayed over it with brown and turquoise ink spray.

Products used:

Paper: Fabscrap
Flowers: Manor house and wild orchard.
Chipboards: Scrap FX & imaginarium
Buttons: Zeus & Zoe
Little house: Prima marketing
Ink spray: Ranger
Stamps: Inkadinkado
