Get creative challenge, February 15th

Good morning all,

Hope everybody had a nice valentine's day? Well we have a new
sketch up at Get creative. As you know we are sister blogs this week with Once upon a sketch.

And this is the challenge for today:

February 15th Challenge

Journalling criteria/theme: HOLIDAYS
Have you printed out all those photos from your last holiday or most favourite holiday? We would LOVE to see them and hear all about it. With the theme of holidays for this challenge, we would love to hear about:your favourite holiday of all time or a favourite place you would LOVE to holiday in . Or how about the last holiday you went to?  Maybe you have not traveled yet? Then tell us about your DREAM HOLIDAY.

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card or altered project based on this sketch and instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.

You must combine our journalling criteria/theme with this sketch.

This was my take on the sketch:

I know i am on the Card design team of Get creative but for myself i also wanted to make a layout for this challenge.  I used the same techniques as on my card, it's quit identical. It's sometimes hard to put everything on a small little card but I would like to go back to Hawaii one day. It's such a lovely place! Although i was working at that time, i have some great memories. That's why i also chose for the bikes on my layout because i went on a bike ride, watching the sunrise in Haleakala national park. It was early in the morning, very cold and we were wearing astronaut suits, watched the sunrise ( beautiful!) and after we biked of the mountain. Amazing view.........my husband and i both already went but on different occasions but we both say the same thing:

A Hui Hau - Until we meet again.

Good Luck with the challenges and thanks for stopping by,

Channa
