Frosted designs: Spotlight

Good morning all, 

Hello all, it's Channa here to share some Frosted designs inspiration today!

I made a layout using 3 similiar colors of dylusions ink, all between pink and purple. 

Dylusions ink used:

Funky Fuchsia

Crushed grape

After midnight

I sprayed each ink on the stencil very close to eachother so it looks like a rainbow effect.  Besided just spraying the ink in three others ways.

1. the rain drop effect: letting it drip  to the sides

2. splashing it on the page. 

3. using the lid of the dylusion bottle to create the little circles. 

In the close ups you can see all the different effects. 

The little lady in the pictures is Larissa, we bought here this jacket for christmas and as you can see

she was very excited to wear it the next day.

Project life: Cover page 2014

Good evening all, 

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! 

So this weekend i will share with you a new venture for 2014, at least for me..

Project life. I had heard of it and i know it exists already for a few years but never touched it. 

But this year i am giving in.............another world opened. In order to get some ideas and inspiration 

i joined some groups on FB and OMG it is so much fun. 

It's completely different than my scrapbook and card style because it's more of a clean cut. 

Well at least thats how i want to make my Project life albums. 

So are you ready..................

Here is my cover page for 2014:

These two pictures were taken on our holiday in November, we are actually throwing leaves in the air. 

 I took this picture in Thessaloniki ( northern, greece) because i was impressed that they had a bike lane. Which is not very common in Greece, bicycling is becoming bigger and bigger in Greece. 

Here in Athens, you have to watch out where you bike as the roads are not made for biking. Hopefully in the years to come that will change. 

So as the card says, enjoy the ride for 2014!

Scrap Africa: challenge #25

Good Morning all, 

Happy new year to all of you and your families, wishing you all the best for 2014! With lots of love, happiness and good health.

With all the travelling and all these days of eating etc .... something things just slipped my mind. 

I had made this layout for this challenge at the beginning of December but for some reason i did not upload it. 

But here is my layout for Scrap Africa Challenge #25:

Its a picture of our new christmas tree for this year. As we moved house and our old tree was a complete disaster we bought a new one and matching with the house we also altered the decorations. 

Using white, blue and silver colors.

The text around states:

Imagine a Dreamer, 

A make believer, 

Shining so bright, 

for the world to see...

I believe i turned the sketch a few times, but all elements are matching to the sketch.

Frosted designs: Friday challenge: "my favorite things"

Good afternoon all, 

It is friday, and it is time for the friday challenge at Frosted designs.

This time the challenge is hosted by Katie Hollister and her challenge is:

A song from the movie "the sound of music" called my favorite things.

This is the song:

Raindrops on ROSES and whiskers on kittens,

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen MITTENS;

BROWN PAPER  packages tied up with STRINGS;

These are a few of my favorite things.

CREAM-COLORED ponies and crisp APPLE strudels;

Doorbells and sleigh BELLS and schnitzel with noodles;

Wild geese that fly with the moon on their WINGS;

These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with BLUE SATIN sashes;

SNOWFLAKES that stay on my nose and eyelashes;

SILVER-WHITE winters that melt into springs;

These are a few of my favorite things.

When the dog bites,When the bee stings,

When I'm feeling sad,

I simply remember my FAVORITE things,

And then I don't feel so bad. 

So the challenge this time is to use any combination of these words as part of your layout or project, at least 3 must be used.I have underlined 12 words since it is the 12th month of the year. For example, the color cream, Angel 'wings' and roses. I can already think of some yummy combinations!! Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!
