Wedding bells

Good morning all,

Today i will share with you what i have been working on for the last couple of months. I decorated a wedding for a friend of mine and i will show you how it turned out.

It all started with the invitation

The welcome table at the entrance:

The wish tree (instead of a normal guest book)
I hand stamped little cards where the guests could put their wishes for the bride and groom.

The wedding aisle:

Lanterns as decoration at the aisle:

Table set up decoration:
As you can see the sea was in the back ground.

And the placing stone, so everybody knew where to sit at the table with the wedding favor filled with the chocolates that looked like little stones.

It was hard work setting everything up but with help from a friend ;-) it was very rewarding as everything looked so beautiful.

If anybody wants more information or is looking for a decorator for their wedding or baptism ( in Athens, Greece) please contact me by email: craftsandpieces@hotmail.com

All cards and party favors are personally handmade by me.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

"Air mail" FD Sketch#42

Good morning all,

The month of May is a long month, therefor we have the 3rd Sketch for Frosted designs.

My take:

The sketch:

This time i choose to use this artistic picture of my cousin Yuri.
21 years old, Music producer, has his own clothing line and is also a DJ.
What more do you want as a young guy??? i know he is going places,
long hours in the studio doing what he likes and what he is good at.

I choose to use London, Paris & New york on this layout but as you can see on
the picture i stamped "Amsterdam" the city where it all starts.
Different characteristics that everybody knows of these cities.

We have one big bowl here at home with small change from all over the world and i added it to the layout and lucky enough i had a euro coin of France in my wallet.
As you can see, i think it might be one of the only layouts that i did not use a single flower??? I love flowers and i like to use them as much as i can on LO.

So? ready to make a layout for the challenge?

Thanks for stopping by and have a good day,
Channa

Every day is Mother's day for B71B

Good morning all,

Mother's day has passed, but in my eye's it should always we mother's day.
At Berry71Blue we have a great mother's day challenge hosted by Amanda Aveiro.

" Definition of a mother is someone who loves unconditionally and places the needs of her children above her own, on a personal level, and not only with words, but also actions."

I decided to use this beautiful red colored tag made by Marivic Clifton and this beautiful picture of my mother.

As the main color of the tag was red i chose to go with a black background.

As you can see i used a lot of flowers and bling bling.

The quote i used for this layout:

Mother's love is peace.
It need not be acquired,
It need not be deserved.
Erich From

So if you have not added your craft project yet, make sure you do on Berry71Blue.
You still have a few days left
to win these beautiful prizes:

The winner of the challenge will receive a prize collection kit from our sponsor this month.
Les Papiers de Pandore. Scrapbooking papers from France has provided us beautiful prize from their new collection called "The scent of Camelias".   Visit their website HERE.

Scrap your crap; Chipboard

Good morning all,

It's time for another challenge at Scrap your crap!

Chipboard

My supplies:

My take:

The had this  "famous grouse chipboard box"for months, and it was collecting dust in the kitchen. I knew one day it would come in handy and that was for this challenge.
I turned it in to a "wine gift box".

I used 1 scrapbook page of Websterspages to decorate the front and back and i  added some card stock on the side. The front part is 2 chipboard dress up dolls  & buttons that i painted with gesso and after with paper and added some pearl drops to give it some color. The flowers i made from lace and added an acrylic pearl in the middle.

For the back i stamped a bird image and added a gesso painted bird cage. All the ribbon used for the handles and the decoration on the front is seam binding.

Well this was my take on the challenge so hop over to Scrap your crap!

Good luck and thanks for passing by.

"1,2,3 Smile" FD Sketch#41

Good morning all,

Time for a new sketch at Frosted designs!

My Take:

The sketch:

As you can see i turned the sketch a little bit.  3 pictures of my little friend, Roan.
And as you can see it took him some time to warm up for a smile.
I believe this is a proper Boy layout, with the colors and the background paper.

I used my little clay clouds from my Tutorial. The chipboard frame around the
2nd picture, the clouds and the chipboard letters are colored with copic markers.

So hop over to Frosted designs and join us for the challenge.
Once again you have two weeks to enter.

Good luck, thanks for stopping by and have a great day,

" Baby " FD Sketch#40

Good morning all,

Happy new month, it's the 1st of may and that means it is time for a new sketch at Frosted designs.

My take:

The sketch:

Here in Greece, a baby stays a "baby"until it is baptized. Most of the times a baby will be baptized before it turns one years old. At the time that i was making this layout this baby did not have a name yet, hence the layout name "baby". As this baby is half greek, half english it had to get a british passport. And her mother told me that she will be called Natalia Maria.

On this picture she was only 2 days old and it was so cute because when i was holding her she had her little fist underneath her little head. So cute!

Around the picture i made a frame of rough tulle. The fence is painted with gesso and after i added some glitter on. It turned out to be a very rustic and romantic layout.

So head over to the Frosted design blog and enter your layout, you have two weeks.....
So good luck!

thank you for stopping by and have a great day,
