Fall layout - frosted designs.

Good morning all, 

Another challenge at Frosted designs!

Make a fall layout with fall colors, ink and bling. 

This is my take on the challenge:

I love making fall layouts as the colors are just amazing, really striking colors. 

Fall colors i used are: red, orange, green and brown. 

Ink - different stamps

bling:  glitter over the whole layout ( gold, but you can only see it in real life) and the little dots. 

Items used from the FD shop is the Nature walk collection of 7 Dots.

List it - Scrap africa

Good afternoon all, 

Most of my regular readers must have noticed that i have been completely of the charts this year.......

Which is true and i do appologize for that, it's been some year. 

But as of today i have one month to go as i am having a baby boy. 

The beginning was awful, morning sickness etc... but i got over it and have enjoyed every little step. 

So as a challenge today at scrap africa is to make a project ( card, LO or OTP) with a list, your list needs to have a min. of ten things to do. 

So this is my take on the challenge:

As a mom to be there can be a lot of items on that "to do"list so most of it is done. 

The only thing that needs to be done is iron my pyamas for the hospital and make my suitcase, i will do that tomorrow or friday. 

The nursery is ready, as a creative mom i have made several items like the lining of our mozes basket, i made sheets, made a mobile for the crib, made bibs and the list goes on and on.......

Our little one will be tall like his father or otherwise it will be a chubby little one as he is 3 kilo's at the moment. My due date is on the 15th of november.... so lets see if he will come sooner or later. 

I have hidden my to do list! it is a pull out tag ( where the flower is located)

i have worked ahead with all my dt teams so i should be fine... i might be offline for a while but i will be back in 2015.

Frosted designs: Messy with 7 dots

Good morning all, 

Today i will share a layout made with the "Cold Country" line of 7 Dots. 

As you might have seen in the Frosted designs store we have some wonderful papers of 7 Dots, 

i think they are just amazing and lovely to use especially for some Mixed media messy stuff. 

So here is my creation:

I am always searching trough my pictures to find a nice picture to use for a layout, if i can find something.........I Sometimes just wander around in the center of Athens, Greece ....

and that is the time you find some hidden gems. 

Like this beautiful graffiti painting!!

This picture was perfect for some mixed media mess. 

So off i went with sprays, ink, lace, modeling paste, cork, buttons, paint..... to make a beautiful mess.

A walk trough nature........

Good evening all, 

Tonight i will share a layout for Scrap Africa!

It's the monthly sketch challenge and this is my take:

The sketch:

It is a very rustic layout, picture were taken from our holiday in November, 2013. 

It was a very rainy day, but is was so beautiful with all the autumn colors. 

Below are some detailed pictures. I used a lot of dylusion sprays to give it the autumn look.

I used some white dylusion spray and by accident it ended up on the picture.....

but i like it because it looks like rain!

Scrap africa: Sketch challenge.

Good morning all, 

First i would like to share my internet frustrations:

After waiting patiently for one month, our internet provider told us that they were not able to put the new connnection in our new house. WHAT??????

Being wiithout internet for so long, it is very very frustrating and i realize that there is no live without it anymore. How did we do it 20 years ago?? 

So yesterday we looked for another provider, trying to get a connection before the 15th of August because if  we cant find one we are without internet for another month. 

August is the holiday month for greece and most companies close for the month.........

So wish me luck!!

Anyway, here is my LO for the sketch challenge of Scrap africa. 

This is the sketch:

It was a great sketch to work with. As you can see i used a picture of my lovely little friend Roan. 

A real boy layout, i used paper of Bo bunny and a piece of burlap, flowers from Get creative embellishements, chipboard from Fab scraps and some other embellishements. 

The flowers were a perfect match for this lo, excellent colors. 

Below you can see the little tandem bike holding the hot air balloon.

PS; if you are wondering how i posted this LO, i am using a Vodafone stick from the middle ages and have to be like speedy gonzales in order not to get kicked out because the credit is finished. 

As you can see frustration central.

Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge

Good Evening All, 

Happy 1st of July, it is already month 7 of 2013!! time flies..........

Today it is time for a sketch challenge at Scrap africa!

My take:

The pictures are taken in Kefalonia at Lake Melissani, on of the Greek islands in the Ionian sea. 

We went there on holiday 2 years ago and as you can see it is beautiful.

I wanted to give the layout a fisher man's look. 

Below and above you can see what i did with the tulle fabric, i pulled and sprayed it many times. 

I added the little shells and the little chipboards, i used fran tage on the chipboard to give it another look. 

I also used it on several spots on the back ground paper. 

This is the sketch, i had a lot of fun making this layout as it has a lot of different textures. 

So you have until the 14th of July to add your creations!
