Scrap your crap " Brads & Eyelets"

Good morning All, 

It's time for another challenge at Scrap your crap!

This month you need to dig in your stash and use Brads and or Eyelets on your craft project. 

This is my take for this month:

As you can see i took out my pearl & Rhinestone brads for this layout. 

The two big flowers are handmade lace flowers and i added a rhinestone brad in the middle. The smaller white flowers with the pearl brads are a new edition in my Crafts & Pieces shop. 

They are so easy to use for any kind of style.

I made a layered border on the left side of the picture of stamps, a row of paper flowers, lace (with rhinestone brads) and the little white roses.

These beautiful butterflies are from SCRAPMATTS, i colored them with distress ink

 and added 2 little green dots of pearl dots.

Floss or twine?

Good evening, 

Today i will share with you a card i made for Scrap your crap! 

The challenge for this month is floss or twine? 

I chose twine and made this cutie pie Magnolia card.

Tilda is colored with glitter and distress ink. 

I added the twine in different places on the card.

As you can see i added a lot of embellishments on this card, flowers, twine, pins, 

chipboard fence, pearl flat backs. you name it and it's on this little card.

Below is a side shot, to show you the purple twine i added to this card. 

I sewed it trough some material that i had left over from some wedding favors that i made.

Scrap your crap; Chipboard

Good morning all, 

It's time for another challenge at Scrap your crap! 

Chipboard

My take:

The had this  "famous grouse chipboard box"for months, and it was collecting dust in the kitchen. I knew one day it would come in handy and that was for this challenge. 

I turned it in to a "wine gift box".

I used 1 scrapbook page of Websterspages to decorate the front and back and i  added some card stock on the side. The front part is 2 chipboard dress up dolls  & buttons that i painted with gesso and after with paper and added some pearl drops to give it some color. The flowers i made from lace and added an acrylic pearl in the middle. 

For the back i stamped a bird image and added a gesso painted bird cage. All the ribbon used for the handles and the decoration on the front is seam binding.

Scrap your crap! April challenge

Good morning all, 

It's time for a new challenge at Scrap Your Crap!

The challenge for this month is to use PAPER ONLY:

This time i made a card, with lots of scrap paper from my "scrap paper left over box". 

I think everybody has this box? After finishing a layout or card we dump it in to this box, and it is all piling up waiting to be used. 

First i made a woven paper mat and i started rolling the ends....i had no clue where i was going with this. So i started to cut out the paper flowers, and making the rolled flowers.  Than i decided to make the dress, all very very random but i came to this ending result. All paper used is from maja design. 

On this picture you can see the rolled ends.

 Everything is layered, and according to the challenge PAPER ONLY! and scissors and glue.

So you have one month to come up with a layout or card and load it up in the comment

Scrap your crap! March challenge

Good morning all, 

Today is the day for my first layout for Scrap Your Crap!

The challenge for this month is to make a LO or card using MASKING/TAPE? 

Honestly, tape is something that i hardly use on any of my layouts, there for i had to search in my stash to see if i had some. But i found this big role! 

I used it as a border, i stuck it to some scrap paper and punched the little flowers and for the little flags next to the picture. And as you can see the mask is behind the picture. 

 Such a pretty little girl! And the tape fits perfectly with her outfit.
