July is a very busy month for me with birthdays and anniversaries.

It all start with a beautiful tag, made by Marivic and i love
the challenge every month creating something around it.

So this was my tag:

I made this card for my mother, her birthday was yesterday (26th) and to remind her what her daughter looked liked 35 years ago ( my birthday tomorrow 28th) i send her this.

I added one of my pins with pearls & swarovski.

And some pearls on the side of the card with a perlen-pen
and i sewed some pearls trough the little holes.

Frosted #46 Sail away

Good morning all,

Today it's time for another challenge at Frosted designs!

I took a picture from my good friend Kim and her daughter Larissa, taken at
the beach in the Netherlands. Yes believe it or not there are beaches, although
the sun might not shine that often, they had a day at the beach.

My take:

I thought this paper of Websterpages fits perfect with the picture,
i turned it in to a Nautical beach theme.

The sketch:

Here is a close up of the boat, this chipboard is from Wycinanka a polish company with some lovely chipboards. Click here to see their products. I colored it with copic markers.

A close up of the flower border and i added some nautical charms.

To give it the beach theme i added small little shells in a circle around the red and white paper.

Once again you have two weeks to enter your layout,
good luck with the challenge,
Have a good day and thanks for stopping by!

Floss or twine?

Good evening,

Today i will share with you a card i made for Scrap your crap

The challenge for this month is floss or twine?

I chose twine and made this cutie pie Magnolia card.

Tilda is colored with glitter and distress ink.
I added the twine in different places on the card.

As you can see i added a lot of embellishments on this card, flowers, twine, pins,
chipboard fence, pearl flat backs. you name it and it's on this little card.

Below is a side shot, to show you the purple twine i added to this card.
I sewed it trough some material that i had left over from some wedding favors that i made.

I wish you all good luck!

have a good evening,
Channa

Frosted Sketch #45 "Princess"

Good morning all,

Another beautiful morning here in Athens, Greece. It's 7 am in the morning and although the sun is not out yet it is very very hot! Just returned from a weeks holiday in Corfu (without a computer), had a great time, toured around the Island so now it's back to reality again.

It's Tuesday so that means a new sketch at Frosted Designs.

My take:

The sketch:

This week i used paper from the Prima marketing "Fairy belle "collection, which i love........
In the picture is a Dutch, Latin princess called Larissa.

The chippies are from Sfragadomania.
They are great, they have so many nice shapes of chippies, like the mirror below.
Both chippies are colored with copic markers.

The word πριγκιπισά is the greek word for Princess.

I did some fussy cutting and layered the flowers behind the picture and added some bling bling .

So ladies, come over to Frosted designs and have a look at what my co- dt members made to get some inspiration. As usual you will have 2 weeks to enter, and add your layout to the FD site.

Have a good day,
Channa

Get creative Card Challenge July!

Good morning to you,

As the summer months are here and you are all enjoining the beautiful weather outside
we will only have 2 challenges this month. 1 Card sketch challenge and 1 Layout sketch challenge.
So no excuses, you have the whole month to find some time in between sunbathing and swimming to be creative.

My take

The sketch

Another identical card according to the sketch. It´s looks easy but it took me some time to get the different parts exactly back in to a square.
I finished it off in between the different parts of paper with some gold dots.
I imagined it to be the light from the candle holder.

The Candle holder is a Chippie from Sfragidomania. I colored it with copic markers.
The sentiment is from my own handmade collection finished of with some white roses and stick pins.

And guess who is the sponsor for this month......

A little Crafts embellishment store.

The lucky winners will win:

Card Sketch Prize:

Layout Sketch Prize:

All items are available in my little online store.

Good luck and i can't wait to see what you will create!

Have a good day and thanks for stopping by,
