Frosted designs; Polka dots

Good evening all, 

A very late post today .......... sorry but i am surrounded by boxes as we will be moving house by the end of this week. Today i started with cleaning the kitchen and i moved all the kitchen stuff over........than i went back to the old house and finished up with all the tiny little things. After 6 years we collected so much stuff....without realizing it...OMG!!!

But today it is also my reveal time for Frosted designs!

I made a card for today, "take a coffee break!"

The challenge is to use polka dots?

As you can see the skirt has dots, the pink design paper and the ribbon.

The Pink polka dot paper & the cup and saucer chippie is from Sfrafidomania.gr.

They are a greek chipboard store and they have some cute stuff and better.....they are around the corner of my house.

Ladies i am off to bed, i am exhausted after this busy day. I also worked on saturday.....so....

Scrap Africa - A trip to nature............

Good Evening Everybody, 

 It is my 2nd post for the day.

This one is for Scrap Africa and we have a fun challenge lined up for you!

The Challenge:

Use texture paint or modelling paste, either with a mask or stencil or free hand and any other wet medium like paint or mists etc.

The picture was taken at easter time when we went for our little bike ride get away.

Before we went home we made our last scenery stop, we walked to a waterfall in the woods and i made this picture of my husband. 

I used modeling past and a stencil to create the white flowers.

After i used the chipboard as a mask and sprayed the Green & Blue spray on the design paper. 

A close up of the flower cluster, a mixture of hand made flowers, mullberry, and some prima marketing. 

I am also entering this layout for the Scrap friends palette challenge #14

I really love this challenge and so easy to create something beautiful. 

As always you have two weeks to create your project and to add it to the 

SCRAP AFRICA BLOG!

Get Creative - Tag time

Good Afternoon all, 

It's tag time at Get creative!

And this is my take on the color scheme:

This is the color scheme:

I sprayed the tag with black and red spray,

the metallic items used as wings were tags from a wreath i bought. 

I knew it would come handy one day!

The dress is also sprayed with black and red and i added gesso on the edges together with a stamp.

I love the barb wire chipboard, it gave a little edgy vibe on the tag. 

I added the white rose around the waist and tight it up with some red and white twine and topped it off with a black vintage button.

So tag away ladies!

Frosted Designs; Sketch & Things with Wings

Good afternoon, 

I hope you are all enjoying your sunday?

Here in Greece summer has started so the sun is always shining. 

Today is the my reveal day for the Frosted designs Challenge. 

The challenge for the next two weeks is to use the sketch given and ..... use something with wings, on your card, Layout or altered project. 

This is my take on this Challenge:

I used a picture of my little friend Ava, who is getting bigger by the 2nd and becoming a little model. At the begining she did not like to make pictures but no she is getting the feeling and i get the occasional photo session with several poses. 

On the sketch it mentions to use two pictures. In general i like to make layouts with one picture and create a scene around it. So for this sketch instead of using pictures i used two different design papers to give the same effect. And from there on i layered it up.

They have some lovely chipboards and i am lucky enough that i am around the corner if i need something!

The paper of this collection is very sweet and romatic, covered by fairies and several other items. 

So my things with wings on this layout are:

Butterflies and a hidden bird. 

The butterfly above was already on the paper, i cut the edges out and put some fabric underneath.

Get creative: Card challenge.

Good morning, 

How are you today? well i was woken up two days ago by a "little"earthquake. 

The only reason that i noticed it was because my husband just left the house around 4 ish in the morning and i believe the quake was a little bit before 5. It's always hard to get back to sleep again so i was just getting back to sleep and that was a weird noise. I went to work and a lot of people had the same story or they slept trough it!! Hahahaha

Well today is the 5th of June and it is time for the Card Challenge of Get creative. 

The challenge is....... to use the colors below on your card????

This is my take:

Little edwin fishing away......he is said because he still has not caught anything. 

So i used the colors as followed. :

Yellow: in the background paper, rose flowers and edwin's shirt.

Blue: behind the background paper, rose flowers, edwin's pants and little fish.

Grey: I added grey around edwin, as a border and i colored every 2nd shell grey. 

The crochet flower is from our lovely "GC BOSS" Irini Liolia!

Scrap Africa Sketch challenge

Good Morning, 

Yeeehhhhhhh i am really ready for the weekend to relax. 

It is also the 1st of June and that means a sketch challenge at Scrap africa!

This is my take:

The sketch:

I used an old wedding picture. I saw this paper from Bo bunny and the picture was ideal for it.

I also used a chipboard of our sponsor from the last challenge

Design Worx chippies.

So suitable for this picture and layout. 

I sprayed it pink to match the roses in the picture. 

All the beautiful ladies of the Scrap Africa Team have made

some gorgeous inspirational layouts for you. 

Again you have two weeks to enter your layout, looking 

forward to what you will create.
